$25.00/hour is a living wage in California.
The minimum wage in California hasn’t kept up with the skyrocketing cost of living. Incarcerated workers have been left behind on the issue of minimum wage for decades.
The California Living Wage for All Coalition is a partnership of economic justice and criminal justice organizations that demands living wages for all people who work in California.
We call on allies and policy makers to support legislation that helps working Californians make a living wage.

The current minimum wage for incarcerated workers is $0.08/hour.
34% of Californian families lack enough income to meet basic living costs.
For a 2-income 2-child household, a living wage in the cheapest county in California, Modoc County, is $23.75/hour. The state-wide minimum wage is $15.50/hour
