Naila Rosario


Naila Caicedo-Rosario is National Policy Director at One Fair Wage. One Fair Wage is a national organization seeking to raise wages and working conditions in the service sector and to end all subminimum wages in the United States. Naila oversees the advancement of legislation moving in key states, by coordinating between  worker organizers, employer organizers, communications, coalition and research teams. 

Naila has over a decade of experience in community organizing and policy advocacy. Over the years, she has coordinated community oriented programs and managed projects which worked toward achieving important educational, cultural, and literacy goals. Prior to joining OFW, she managed BPL’s community relations and advocacy where innovative programs were developed and implemented through the library’s use of 1,400 public computers, 15.5 million books, eBooks, and DVDs, among other educational materials.She also spearheaded and maintained the ‘Heart of Corona’ initiative in which the Queens Museum and community partners worked towards three main objectives: improve the health of community residents; beautify the neighborhood; and activate public spaces in the area thereby enhancing the environment for visitors, residents and merchants alike. Naila is also a public school parent and has been an education advocate for more than eleven years. In that time she served on the executive board of the PTA at PS 172; School Leadership Teams for PS 172, MS 839 and Gaynor McCown High School. For six years was a President of Community District Education Council 15.  

Naila was born in Cali, Colombia, raised in Brooklyn and a graduate of City College. She currently lives in Staten Island with her husband and two children.
