Donate to One Fair Wage
Your gift supports the country’s largest restaurant and service worker organization. We take no money from the restaurant lobby. We are funded by foundations, individual donors, and our 300,000 worker members.
What your gift does
- $25 — covers one worker’s Just Safe Food certification fee (which most workers pay out of pocket).
- $100 — funds one hour of legal-help intake on the Workers’ Rights Hotline.
- $500 — seats one worker in an English-class cohort for an entire semester.
- $2,500 — supports a full Albany, Sacramento, or Springfield lobby day with worker testimony.
- $10,000+ — major gift; funds a state campaign for a full quarter. Contact development@onefairwage.org.
How we’re funded
OFW is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We accept no funding from the restaurant lobby or its trade associations. Our financials and 990 filings are public.

The Relief Fund (Our Track Record)
During the COVID-19 pandemic, OFW ran the Emergency Relief Fund, which distributed direct cash assistance to service workers nationwide — more than 270,000 workers applied. That program has wrapped, and it is part of how OFW earned the trust of the workers we organize today.
Restaurant workers built this country’s economy. Now we’re building each other up.
Whether you can give $25 or $25,000 — or join as a member at no cost — you’re part of the fight.
